yellow.

Daffodils are the most beautiful thing in my garden today.

I look forward to starting a food garden. Last year, due to being huge with baby, I limited myself to the existing flower beds. By mid-season, I missed eating while gardening so I tried pathetically to coax peas and beans up a fence in the driveway.

I have a better plan this year.

Since I moved to Anchorage, I kept a community garden plot three out of the five seasons. This year, I will try our driveway again using a raised bed that will be contained by the beat up wood planters left here by the original homeowners.
If it works out, I'll build better beds next year if we still live here.

Gardening makes me happy.
