I've stopped and started posting this all week. Maybe for two weeks.
I've been doing research. I've been reading books. I've been scoping out sites. I've been sketching clothes. I'm trying to (re-)discover my style.
All I can say is... Where have I been?

This is my story so far.
A) Patternmaking for Fashion Design. Drafting a Pattern.
B) Test fit a la Betty Draper. My friend Amy, who has a past life in couture fashion, lent me the above book. She later taped me up, helping me to refine this draft...
C) ...and thereby create a fabric block to launch future pattern design.
D) My first project is a yoke top... possibly dress.
E) Using Matt's old jeans and fabric from within my house.
F) I plan to overdye the whole thing midnight blue.
